Katie Stene is currently completing her Honours BA degree in Psychology, assessing the validity of an instrument to measure the quality of kinship care. Katie has previously worked on the Complex Care Intervention project (CCI). The CCI project focuses on treatment for youth in out-of-home care who have experienced complex trauma. Katie is involved in the community as an active volunteer with the Connect Centre for Brain Injury, and is the co-founder of Kelowna’s Bag-Lunch Program which provides meals to homeless individuals. Her interests include aviation and travel, and she loves to spend her spare time with her friends and family or outdoors enjoying the beautiful Okanagan sunshine.
