Alysia began working with the Centre as a volunteer in 2012 while she was an undergraduate psychology major. She is now completing her MSW degree. During her time at the Centre Alysia has assisted with screening activities in a systematic literature review, analyzed child welfare administrative data on caseload dynamics, coded data for inter-rater reliability checks, and transcribed interviews of child welfare staff. Alysia also helped to write a CIHR proposal as part of a directed studies course. Her most recent project is a systematic literature review of the history of child welfare services. She enjoys her free time taking her dog on hikes and relaxing at home.
